Congratulations to Sally Koepke and her dog NFTCH Carronades's O'Rylee Factor, "Rylee," for winning the Bridget Trophy for the highest placing BRC member-owned bitch in the Spring Field Trial. Sally and Rylee placed 3rd in the 2006 Spring Trial Owner/Handler Amateur stake. The last time the award was won was in 1997 by Chessman Kittredge's "Molly."
Congratulations go out to the winner of the 2006 Chessman Kittredge Duck Blind Trophy, Nine Miles Ramblin Harley owned by Dr. Ralph Wieland. “Charles” earned 6 points during the 2006 Field Trial season by taking a first place and a third in two Qualifying Stakes along with several other JAMs. Ralph’s Charles will also be honored by the Associated Bird Dog Clubs of Ohio as the Ohio Retriever Field Trial Dog of the Year.
Not too many folks run hunt tests of any sort in the middle of winter. Mike Sustin's HRCH UH Frylines Cherokee Scout MH, "Scout," passed 8 out 8 UKC/HRC Upland tests in Kentucky in February. Most of the HRC clubs only run Upland Hunt Tests during the winter so when they're close, well, you have to go.
