Welcome to Buckeye Retriever Club.

Our mission is the promotion of the working retriever:

• The betterment of retrieving breeds and furtherance of good sportsmanship in the field
• Encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred retrievers and to do all things possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection
• Conduct sanctioned and licensed hunt tests and field trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.

Our training grounds are located in Hambden, Ohio. Hambden Nursery, Hambden, Ohio. We host several events a year, including AKC licensed hunt tests and field trials. We work together in an informal venue of training our retrievers to hunt or compete, and support each other in the fellowship, cooperation and learning that can take place when people and dogs are working toward mutual goals.
